Associação Portuguesa de Síndrome de Asperger

APSA- Portuguese Association for Asperger Syndrome is a non-profit Private Social Solidarity Institution (IPSS) that was created by a group of parents in Lisbon on 7 November2003.  APSA supports and guides people of all ages with AS and their families, nationwide.
Regarding technical intervention, we developed a pilot project: Casa Grande since 2014, for young adults in Lisbon, given that it was in this age group that we found lack of responses.

Our Mission:

  • To promote the support and social integration of people with Asperger Syndrome (AS), fostering the conditions to an independent and dignified life.

Our Vision:

  • To have a society acceptive of difference and in which people with Asperger Syndrome have equality of opportunities, feel accepted, respected and accomplished.
