Employability Program

The primary goals of the Employability Programare the development of the social skills and functional autonomy to the integration and inclusion in professional and social contexts.

APSA – Portuguese Association for Asperger Syndrome- through its project Casa Grande aims to become a partner of companies by providing an Employability Program (PE). This program is destined to adults and young adults with Asperger Syndrome (AS), over 18 years old and has the goal of empowering them for the inclusion of social and professional life. The work of intervention with each young adult/adult is carried out by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, who according to the individual feature profile, plans a response adapted to each one.

The Program is flexible and dynamic, with various modalities.
Its execution implies a cross-monitoring of the triad by APSA: FAMILY-YOUTH-COMMUNITY, driving a substantial social impact on each.

The success of the program implementation is a benefit for all those who are part of it and therefore the social impact is integrated and integral, leading to social changes expressed in a greater welcoming and inclusion of people with AS in the society and context work.
